It occurred to me yesterday that because of the small size of the house, every single thing we move there is going to have to meet two essential criteria: Either we love it, or we really need it.
Our move so far has consisted of evenings spent going through each item we own, categorizing it, and either packing it, or donating it to Goodwill. Everything must be edited. The house is larger than our apartment, but not by a very large margin and it will be important to ensure that everything we own is necessary or something we can't live without.
