I sit here in our LB apartment waiting for Scott to get home so that we can go over to the house alone for the very first time. The sellers left yesterday and though we weren't supposed to take posession until July 1st, we have been the official, legal owners of the house for 2 + months now and we're anxious to get in there!
I'm looking forward to being there with just Scott and saying whatever we want, yelling, screaming, running around the yard etc. I'm anxious to see what's behind that paneling in the living room, what's under that facade on the front porch pillars, how the rooms look with no furniture, and check out how much we'll have to clean up
The checklist for tonight includes popping open some champagne, and exploring! We're taking over some cleaning products and we'll get started on that if the mood strikes us. I can't wait!!!
Fingers crossed that we don't walk in, close the front door behind us and the whole thing crumble on our heads!
