Meet Persephone

It's time to introduce the third member of our family. Our cat Persephone wandered into Scott's parents yard one day and refused to leave. Mom called us up and asked if we wanted a cat and she's been ours ever since. She's a small cat for her age which is around 5 years old, and she loves to be outside. When we moved from the apartment to the house she went nuts running all around the yard, rolling in the dirt, hanging out on the fence teasing our neighbor's dogs, chasing lizards, and watching the birds. A black and white tuxedo cat, Sephe, as we call her is a bit of a ham and loves having her picture taken. She's also much more Scott's cat than mine and favors him which is ok with me.

We try to be green pet owners by feeding her natural food, using recycled cat litter, having her spayed immediately after we got her, and buying her natural toys and bedding. I like to think she appreciates it.
