Angles Part 2

It's fun to photograph the house from the many angles we see it everyday. It's also fun to see just what a photo like that actually shows you about how we live around here. It's one thing to take a photo once the centerpiece has been turned at just the right angle and I've waited for the perfect lighting conditions. It's quite another to realize that we have zero photos from a particular angle and then just shoot it, capturing the real way we use the space. Here's a look from the kitchen into the living room.


Not only can you peek from the kitchen to the living room, but you can see some of our fall/Halloween decor, the corner of the toaster and our ugly kitchen countertops that are peeling along the edge, our refrigerator and calendar from Save the Redwoods League stuck to it, a metal tray under our coffee table which I keep trying to invent a use for, and of course, basketball on the television. Quite a bit going on in this mundane shot!
