The best thing about buying a house from someone you know is the fact that you get to know the house intimately before you move in. Even better for us is the fact that we get to spend the whole summer at our house while Scott's aunt and uncle are at their new house in Oregon. We have keys and will take care of the yard for the next 3 months. How great! Here are some photos I took of the yard on our first day over there. We definitely have our work cut out for us.
