I fell in love with this cheese board from Vivaterra. I had decided to add it to my Christmas list when Scott and I visited a builders supply to price some stone for the yard and I saw several pieces of slate in a bin for a fraction of the cost. It will require some work to smooth out the edges so that they're not sharp, but I plan to make my own before our first dinner party!
