The Bathroom: A Long Journey

THE FAUCET WE LOVE

The bathroom was one of the scariest rooms of the house. The vanity was right out of a horror movie, the room was paneled and super dark, and the bathtub had been taken out in order to convert the area into a pantry / closet. WTF right? Anyway, right now, the bathroom looks pretty good on one side (still some finishing to do), but not so good on the other. We found the original 1940's freestanding tub in a ditch in the backyard and with much effort, dragged it inside and set it up. It currently fills from a connection through the faucet in the laundry room next door, but we have our eye on a nice new clawfoot tub faucet. That, subway tile and finishing the bottom are the ultimate goal of the bathroom remodel.

  1. Okay, that original bathroom is officially the weirdest thing I have ever seen. It looks like some run-down den you'd see in a basement. You did an amazing job giving the bathroom a fresh and updated look.
