Today we got a really late start even though we left the apartment really early. We stopped at Home Depot and decided to buy the pedestal sink we'd been wanting, and then went to Sherwin Williams to have the paint we bought tinted to a deeper color. We met the plumber at the house at 11:30 and got an estimate on what it will cost to re-install the bathtub, replace the toilet, replace the sink and move it to another wall, and do all of the tile and fininsh work - $4,000.00!!!!!!!! And we actually decided to go for it. Lord help us.
Today:
1. Sanded the spackle on living room walls
2. Primed the living room
3. Removed the platform bed in what will be our room
4. Fought the most disgusting infestation of bugs in history
5. Won war against bugs
6. Stacked all wood from platform bed and paneling outside
7. Spackled bedroom
8. Removed horrible window air conditioning unit
9. Disconnected the remaining stupid and dangerous extension cords
10. Replaced fuse and got 100% of electricty back on
11. Painted the living room
