Links I Love: My Green Home Stories

I have been fortunate enough to be asked to share some of my green home on a budget story with people through a great site here in Los Angeles called Your Daily Thread. I recently realized that none of that info is here on my blog. So without further ado, 4 articles I've written for the site.

1. The first story is my musings about how Scott and I can keep our "green promises" in the face of the high costs sometimes associated with going green. Keeping Our Green Promises

2. Next we outlined our water saving strategies in the yard in the aptly names Green Home Remodel Part Two: The Yard.

3. In Ditch the Dumpster, we shared how we got perfect strangers to come over and help us clean out our house using Craigslist, and charity donations. It reminds me of Sherry's post over at This Young House called How to Score Free Labor on Criagslist. We also focused on the dilemma of sending tons of unwanted stuff to the landfill.

4. I then wrote about a specific room and what exactly about it is "green". I also spend some time discussing the very concept of green and what it means to create an eco friendly environment. What's So Green About It Anyway.

I invite you to check out these articles and Your Daily Thread in general, and feel free to comment!
